Thank you! It's a combination. The queen was mostly done in vector, the back of the throne as well. Everythyng else in Photoshop.

Whoa! Outstanding! This turned out AWESOME!!!
Oy! I wish I could ink like you. I tried the pen tool in Illustrator like you suggested and I'm SO SLOW at it.

Thank you very much, Stacy, I appreciate your feedback a lot!

Now that I look at it, I don’t like the frosting on her breasts. I should probably work on it some more.

I posted a relatively low-res file because I wasn’t sure it was ok to post original (10K px). Ebas doesn’t have this file in his profile. But Sean gave it a go, so I will upload the high-res (with improved frosting:) (Smile) ).

As for the Illustrator and pen tool, it’s just a matter of practice. I worked for a long time on portraits and made over 600 of them, the bigger chunk of them in vector. So I guess I am just comfortable with the software. But inking is quite another matter, I am still new in this area, and each piece presents new puzzles for me.

I guess I should express my gratitude to Sean Ellery for posting pencils available for inking in his journal. I am still new on deviant, so his posts made it possible for me to work on professional inspiring pencils.

Thank you once again. I hope you will continue working in vector and perfecting you skills. I am looking forward to seeing great vector inking from you! Cheers!

Another great peice and nice to see another vector artist in the mix, though I work in photoshop on raster layers which i suppose is technically vexel rather than vector but still, principle is the same. I tried Illustrator, I found the Pen tool there overly complicated compared to the photoshop version but agreed its just a matter of practice and use of keybindings to increase your work rate. Quite jealous of Sean he always seem to have the access when it comes to topnotch pencils :P
